"While attending an herbal fest at a speciality growers market I passed by a soap vendor and purchased two bars. I had no intentions of trying to make it – couldn’t care less at that point. I found that I really enjoyed using the soaps, the scents and how moisturizing they were. And what a special thing! I felt pampered! While on vacation with a friend I came across Susan Miller Cavitch’s book, The Complete Soapmaker. It took several months of looking at this book, picking it up to read now and then, before I decided to make some soap. My first batch was awful! Crumbly, dry, not good smelling. From there I was totally intrigued collecting all the information I could find on the subject, studying a lot and researching. Eventually I got to the point that I really liked what I made but you can only use so much soap. My interest grew and grew and here I am today – seven years in business. What keeps me going are all the positive comments from people using my products. I love what I do!!!"
